MVP Has A Career Night 44 Points

League MVP Derrick Rose led the Chicago Bulls to a victory in Atlanta over the Hawks 99-82. Rose scored a career high 44 points as the Bulls had the lead the entire night; at one point going up by as much as 22 points. The Sports Center moment came in the 1st quarter at the 3:20 mark. Rose just exploded by Atlanta's Jeff Teague on his way to deliver a monster two-handed slam. The Hawks were never in the game as Rose set the tone early. Jeff Teague has played solid basketball for Atlanta scoring 21 points. The most cheers all night for Atlanta was when the PA announcer introduced the number 1 draft pick for the Falcons, Alabama's wide receiver Julio Jones. The Bulls now have a 2-1 lead going into the Mother's Day matchup.
