Revenge Fuels Mavericks to a NBA Championship

The Dallas Mavericks have captured the 2011 NBA Finals and avenged a 2006 finals meltdown by beating the Miami Heat 4-2.Forward Dirk Nowitzki played like the MVP he was during the finals minutes of several games.Dirk and Jason Kidd has just made themselves both first ballot hall of famers by winning that elusive ring. Kidd has achieved this feat by returning to team that drafted him second overall in the 1994 draft (after being traded to Phoenix and New Jersey).

This makes the second finals that LeBron James have played in. His record in the NBA Finals is 2-8. If James wants to make good on his promise to the people of South Beach, he must find a way to become relevant in the second half of games.
